The BFI invested £1.1 million in 15 new, bold and ambitious animation projects as part of the BFI Short Form Animation Fund. For the second iteration of the Fund, the BFI partnered with StoryFutures to support two immersive virtual or augmented reality projects, _Beachcomber_ and _There Exists_, from the slate of 15.

Health and wellbeing VR experience

Beachcomber is an immersive, ambient narrative that explores the stories within ourselves. Using virtual reality as a way to enter a new headspace, audiences will interact with their memories and imagination on a mindful journey into the subconscious.
