A four-part, high-budget drama series about the life of Edward James, a fascinating but little-known wealthy British aristocrat who, despite his lack of recognition, is one of the most important figures of 20th Century Art. Edward was a Zelig-like figure, a creative midwife present at moments of fantastic invention. He was friend, lover, and patron to some of the 20th Century’s most famous artists, including Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, John Betjeman, Leonora Carrington, Bertolt Brecht, Kurt Weill, Réné Magritte, and countless others. Edward is an unjustly overlooked, gifted with energy and vision, not to mention being a capricious, entertaining, and sexually ambiguous character in his own right. During the Production Zone, two scenes will be transformed using VP methodologies, creating an innovative and exciting way to tell this extraordinary surrealist tale
