StoryFutures: The National Centre for Immersive Storytelling, presents ‘The Art of the Possible: Building inclusive design and accessibility into the development of immersive experiences’; a webinar discussing how the UK creative sector is embracing issues around inclusive design and accessibility within creative content and immersive experiences.
Introduced and hosted by Fiona Kilkelly, Executive Producer at StoryFutures, this webinar discusses current developments in the area of inclusive design and also speaking to several SME’s and industry experts who have been involved in recent inclusive-led programmes. From the StoryFutures Inclusive Design Accelerator programme which offered SME’s the opportunity to access cutting-edge expertise in inclusive design to pilot an experimental Inclusive Innovation process, to StoryTrails, the nationwide immersive storytelling project which recruited 50 diverse creatives to develop a range of inclusive immersive experiences and local stories around the UK using VR, AR & 3D mapping techniques. As well as the ground-breaking new project called The Sensational Museum, led by Royal Holloway, University of London, looking to transform access and inclusion within the museum sector in the UK.
